Project Management Trainer

This is an exciting role for someone who has at least 3 years’ experience of managing projects in a live environment to train people to pass the APM Project Management Qualification and APM Project Fundamentals Qualification exams. It would be ideal if you have already passed one or both of these qualifications. You could live anywhere in the UK, travel is an essential part of this role.
You will shadow our lead APM trainer through your training to understand how we successfully achieve some of the highest pass rates in the industry.
Our customers expect a first-class standard of delivery, and this includes drawing on experience, being reliable, well presented and good at communicating with people from all types of background.

This role will suit someone who enjoys the dynamic nature associated with travelling for work and relishes the opportunities that being exposed to all sorts of industries and people can bring. Visiting various locations and businesses and engaging with a lot of different people provides the chance to both provide and learn examples of best practice of project management.
**Main Responsibilities **including but not limited to:
- Deliver group training, in a classroom/ workplace setting/ hybrid or virtual delivery
- Positively participate in the organisations commitment to attendance, retention, completion and progression.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with learners and employers
- Engage and actively participate in Training Bytesize team meetings
- By supporting the growth of the business, there will be a requirement to undertake additional duties when directed.
- Possible attendance at APM events and liaison with APM representatives.
- Course material development and modification.
**Personal Specification**
**Experience**
A minimum of three years teaching and/or training experience
A background in managing projects
**Desirable Industry qualification(s)**
Any APM qualifications
Possibly PRINCE2 and/or an Agile approach to give a depth of understanding.

**Driving**
Due to the nature of this role travel will be required and therefore a full UK drivers’ licence is essential
**Travel**
Most courses are from Monday to Friday so travel and overnight stays within the UK will be required frequently. Some weekend travel will be required (Sunday afternoon / evening). Each training day is from 9am to 5pm on average. However expect to be present at the training venue at 8am.
