Assistant Bed Management Co-ordinator

The post holder will assist in the bed management of the mental health beds across the inpatient service.
The post holder will maintain efficient administration services and information support to the clinical teams within Operational Services.
This is a complex multifunctional administration role, utilising information from clinical systems that will require the ability to prioritise, multi task, negotiate, build and maintain relationships with the wider MDT and other stakeholders, both in the NHS and private sector. The successful applicant will need to be assertive, when required to ensure that the admission process runs smoothly as possible to prevent any delay for the patient.
The post holder must be confident and adaptable in their approach to different individuals and situations, adapting their approach as necessary to resolve any issues by using tact, diplomacy and compassion.
The ability to work in a busy environment, in complex and challenging situations and build personal resilience will be key in this role.
We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed term contract to provide maternity cover as Assistant Bed Management Co-ordinator, based in East Home Treatment Team. The post will assist with the management of the mental health beds across the inpatient service. The post holder will need to be an effective communicator, able tot gather all relevant information from various sources and share them as required with both internal and external stakeholders.
