**The Role**
Working as part of the Merchandising team, the Assistant Merchandiser will support the Merchandising Manager and wider business with analysis, reporting and planning to ensure we have the right stock in the right place at the right time, to maximise allsales opportunities. Working to exceed the high expectations of Rohan customer is the key goal of your role
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
Analysis and Reporting:
Responsible for collating data and producing weekly sales and stock analysis and reporting
Updating Line WSSI on a weekly basis with stock, sales and delivery information and using information to inform any actions required across the business
Assisting in creating and plotting new seasons forecasts and buy onto the Line WSSI
Analyse and report on sales by Product Type, Styles, Sizes and Stores to improve sales and stock availability
Calculate size breakdowns for PO’s
Preparing and calculating price changes and communicating these across the business
Support the Merchandising Manager on analysis for new season range planning, range review preparation, forecasting and calculating seasonal requirements
Support the Merchandising Manager on preparing monthly stock, sales and buy information and analysis
Support the Merchandising Manager on preparing and analysing stock levels for sale packages and promotions, including product selection, pricing and stock distribution
Ensure all files, reports and archive information are maintained, organizing and updated as and when required
Ensure Marketing literature is checked and product information is correct for stock availability, price and product codes
Assist Merchandising Manager with planning and set-up on non-Rohan complimentary products
Inform retail stores staff of products available on staff allowance
Support Head Office teams with timely information and requests relating to own area
Build and maintain strong and supportive relationships with Retail team and store staff
Willingness and ability to support at key trading times such as sale periods
Continuously develop understanding and adherence to the critical path and trading calendar deadlines
Ensure changes or updates for own area are clearly and timely communicated across the business
Build strong and synergistic relationships with cross functional partners and key stakeholders; Design, Technical, Production,
Marketing, Retail, creating open channels of communication
Support the Merchandising Manager with ad-hoc reporting and deeper analysis when required
Stock Management and Allocations:
Responsible for preparing stock packages and patterns for new stores
Responsible for setting up new season branch stock patterns for all channels and ensuring coordination with the warehouse for
on time distribution to stores
Regularly review stock patterns and amend up or down as required to maximise sales
Regularly review discontinued stock levels and ensure correctly distributed through clearance stores
Ensure low stocked items are consolidated to best location company-wide
Prepare and update stock patterns for recall and co-ordinate with other relevant departments
Ensure stock is allocated to stores in response to daily requests/calls
Responsible for all internal stock removals and ensuring these are processed correctly and quickly
Responsible for setting up product codes in the system

Educated to degree level or similar

Experience of Midas and Options a benefit
Minimum of 2-3 year’s experience in a similar role or business
