Lead Independent Sexual Violence Advocate

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES (averaging 30% of job plan)
Provide case supervision, and supervision of their own case supervision work, to the Senior ISVA.
Provide consultation and advice across the ISVA team on case challenges and complex cases.
Undertake direct ISVA work from time to time where a particular case requires such. This will be where a case has certain challenges or circumstances either in terms of particular client vulnerabilities
or needs or at indicated points or failures within the criminal justice system.
Lead on, and regularly review and monitor, all clinical governance processes and pathways related to the ISVA team, internally and externally.
Be directly accountable for safe, high quality, consistent, trauma-informed ractice across the ISVA team.
Provide senior clinical input and leadership to service safeguarding meetings and processes including deep dive multi-disciplinary case reviews.
Self-manage the requirement to maintain current standards of practice. This may take a number of forms but will require direct client contact and work as appropriate. Whilst the post-holder will not be
required to hold a discreet ISVA caseload it may be appropriate where service needs or complex case needs dictate to hold a small caseload at any time.
Attend regular clinical supervision and reflective practice
