Head of Data Protection | Online Gaming | Gibraltar

SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a capable Head of Data Protection. The role will involve closely liaising with stakeholders across the group to assess, maintain and improve training, processes, procedures and policies. Building a strong workingrelationship with the regulatory bodies and communicating directly as needed.

What you will be doing:

- Review new and existing market requirements.
- Prepare the business for any regulatory changes or updates in advance of them becoming a legal requirement.
- Prepare Board and C-Level updates on data protection relevant data protection matters and regulatory changes.
- Work with the Data Protection Team to ensure the business has robust response plans for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with group stakeholders across all brands to ensure company can provide accurate and timely responses that are compliant with legislation.
- Manage the Data Protection Team's preparation of group wide data mapping.
- Manage privacy team capacity to ensure regulatory deadlines are always adhered to.
- Manage the Data Protection Team's role in supporting the business with all relevant data protection laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Periodically review and where update (as needed) all customer facing privacy notices and internal policy documents to meet the highest standards.
- Oversee the delivery of additional privacy awareness training to key stakeholder groups.
- Review and advise on Data Processing Agreements, Data Sharing Agreements, in coordination with Legal and Information Security teams.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments, in collaboration with the relevant internal stakeholders.

The Essentials:

- Organised, focused, adaptable, and professional.
- Proven track record in privacy programme management.
- A strong communicator, with good interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage a team.
- Able to handle pressure.
- CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent qualification.
