Page Personnel is supporting a returning customer within the FMCG sector, with their recruitment of a Temporary Management Accountant to cover a maternity vacancy within their Accountancy team. The role is reporting to the Financial Controller and sits withina team of 8. The office is based in Portsmouth and has strong commuting links, as well as good public transport links.
**Client Details**
Our client is a highly successful and well-known FMCG business based in Portsmouth. The business has seen significant growth and are consequently adding to their accountancy team to support with the increased workload and financial turnover.
**Description**
As the Temporary Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Production of the monthly management accounts
- Budgets, cash flow forecasting
- Variance analysis - reporting finds to the Finance Director
- Reporting on budget vs actual and making necessary adjustments
- Production of profitability reports
- Balance sheet analysis
**Profile**
In order to be considered for the Temporary Management Accountant role, you must:
- Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
- Be immediately available or on short notice
- Be able to work as part of the team
- Be able to communicate financial information to other departments, shareholders
- be able to adapt and multi-task
