**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities for children.
- Support the Lead Leader in managing daily operations and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster strong relationships.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Drive initiatives that promote child development and learning.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring they are engaged and safe.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery environment.
- Provide leadership support by mentoring junior staff and volunteers.

**Qualifications**
- Level 5 in Child Care
- Experience working as a Deputy Leader in a preschool for a minimum of 2 years
- Experience working as Deputy Child Protection Officer in a preschool

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
