Manchester Staff are currently searching for a Senior Content Manager to be based in our client’s offices in Altrincham. This is a full-time permanent position.

Our client is an industry leading Digital Marketing Agency who are looking to challenge the norm and have a blast along the way. The Senior Content Manager will lead on Content delivery at the agency and play a key part in the continued success of the SEO department alongside Digital PR and Technical SEO teams.

The content you plan, deliver, and oversee will range from blog posts and product descriptions through to creative campaigns to support link building efforts and everything in between. You will balance your time between thinking (research, strategy, andanalysis) and doing (copywriting, briefing designers, etc), all the while considering SEO objectives.

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience of writing successful Content.
- Strong understand of the commercial purpose behind content.
- Ability to work out what content a website needs to generate more business from Organic Search and be creative to come up with ideas which deliver results.
- A creative and an analytical thinker, understanding what makes people tick and using that knowledge to produce content that drives engagement.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices such as keyword research and content gap analysis.
- Able to work alongside other departments such as Digital PR and Tech SEO.
- Client facing experience is a bonus.
- Good experience using tools such as Google Analytics.
