**Job summary**:
The Royal Marines Admin officer is responsible for overseeing administrative duties in support of the Royal Marines Accreditation Team at RM Lympstone, in accordance with Br3 Ch 96 and JSP 822. The AO will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on aspects of civilian accreditation.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:

- The post holder will have the exciting opportunity to join RM Lympstone, the successful applicant will require good communication and interpersonal skills, MS Office knowledge, be proactive, self-motivated and able to work cohesively with members of the wider PACC Team. Ideally they will also have a knowledge of Regulated Qualifications ( OFQUAL) and experience of registration and certification processes.
- Additionally, they will be required to support RMCAT with facilities tasks including ordering and issuing of stationary including keeping and maintaining records of stationery orders and purchases within the RMCAT SharePoint for audit purposes. The Admin officer will provide a professional first point of contact to all accreditation enquiries.
- Experience and passion for teamwork is essential to ensure all areas of work are completed to a satisfactory standard, coupled with the ability to be individually motivated to support wider team objectives.**Person specification**:

- 1. The collation, storage, security and timely distribution of certificates on receipt from the Awarding Organisations.
- 2. To ensure current and competent training on all aspects of the GPC card holder for RMCAT including completing the compulsory training course.
- 3. To maintain the RMCAT’s budgets and updating spreadsheets. To log, screen and check the accuracy of all invoices received, prior to submission for RMCAA approval, liaising with the issuing organisation, when necessary, in the event of discrepancies.
- 4. To liaise with education departments, national awarding organisations, professional institutes and other agencies, military and civilian, as necessary in support of the RMCAT’s purpose.
- 5. To manage online examination processes in line with Awarding body/education provider policies including invigilation
- 6. To take and produce minutes of meetings as required by the chain of command
- 7. To regularly update the procedures guide for all work associated with principal tasks.
- 8. Undertake any additional tasks as agreed with Line Manager (Line and Functional) in pursuance purpose.**Behaviours**:
