Role of the Agile Sector Lead
As an Agile Sector Lead you will be leading a team of Agilists focused on supporting our clients to achieve organisational change across the defence sector. You will have experience in supporting, managing and leading agility or change teams in a hands-on manner,undertaking billable work yourself. Agile Sector Lead will play an active role in contributing to further growth working closely with our Industry Lead Partners and all of our consulting and delivery practices.
This is therefore an opportunity to establish yourself as the lead for a critical group responsible for achieving strategic goals to support further growth of Capita as the market leading supplier of digitally enabled transformation across the UK Public Sector.
Responsibilities: Lead the engagements and service delivery across the UK Defence sector. Most of this work is to provide training and coaching using predominantly Scrum Inc methods - establishing self-sufficient centres of excellence within various branchesof the services at multiple levels within the organisation.
Build engagements where Capita can contribute to discovery phases of work to identify routes to achieve efficiency gains across large capital projects and programmes. You will represent the face of Capita with the client.
Responsible for resourcing as a sector lead - able to bring together teams and deliver agreed, coherent and complete solutions. Setting goals and objectives, managing resource scheduling.
Managing budgets, performing risk and cost assessments, producing progress reports for both the Client and Capita Consulting Leadership.
Lead and support Pursuits, Tenders and Proposals both within Consulting or as part of a wider Capita sales team. A key ambition is to grow from our established base in Defence across other public sector organisations. Develop deep understanding of client needsand translate them into winning solutions as part of a final Proposal.
Build strong and trusted relationships with our customers and our key supply organisational partners.
Have the ability to bring together teams and deliver agreed, coherent and complete solutions in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Working collaboratively with other parts of our Consult & Transform business is a key expectation - it is only as a collectiveteam that we can achieve our strategic ambition.
We expect you to use your established expertise to advise and support our Clients. Where they have chosen methods, we expect you to support their decision and structure your work and team accordingly. Where you are unfamiliar with the standards chosen we willhelp you build on your broader experience with training to become an expert in their methods. Where we are working in stages where a tailored approach is necessary, we expect you to be able to build an approach based on yours and the teams wider experience.
