**Commercial Data Improvement & Quality Lead - Inside IR35**

**Contract Term: 6 Months (Possible Extension)**

**Contracting Authority: BEIS**

**Location: London or Salford (Hybrid)**

**As a **Commercial Data Improvement & Quality Lead **your main responsibilities would be**:

- Support with the administration of commercial system data, seek clarification from data owners and present findings to stakeholders where required.
- Work with the team to respond to BEIS commercial FOI’s, PQ’s and other external correspondence received. As well as working with commercial professionals and other partners to ensure responses are provided within the time frames given and ensuring they comply with legislation Be confident using SharePoint, Excel, Power BI and Commercial Systems.
- Support the delivery of the identified change projects, ensuring that they meet BEIS' needs.
- Help to seek out ways to improve processes and data to help deliver commercial outcomes effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in commercial, finance, legal and other Government Departments to develop our commercial offer and promote collaboration and sharing of the best practice methodologies across the BEIS family and Government Commercial Organisation.
- Be an important member of the team. Playing an active role in supporting the team, embedding its vision and values to build an encouraging and supportive working environment for all.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Have proven experience of governance and assurance and/or data analysis.
- Demonstrate capability of delivering projects to timelines.
- Demonstrate capability to work proactivity and to take ownership and accountability of your own tasks and work.
- Demonstrate capability in managing stakeholders and establishing relationships both internal and external to your organisation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of risk, and the ability to identify, mitigate and escalate as appropriate.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
