Our Project Controls team are recruiting for an experienced Risk Specialist to join their team.

**Purpose and Scope**:
As the Risk Practitioner you will be responsible for the implementation of risk management across the programmes and projects ensuring a culture of risk-based decision-making.

You will will provide a service to a number of projects within 1 or more Programmes for the Amentum E&E (UK) business unit.
- Provide QSRA & QCRA services to a range of projects, using best practice tools & techniques and produce quality Risk Analysis reports
- Provide/lead quality risk registers for all lifecycle phases and stages
- Maintain a high level of underpinning information for all-risks
- Support the commercial department in the analysis of commercial risks
- Maintain risk databases and validate data across systems
- Assist projects to clearly define their objectives and associated risks
- Maintain delivery of high-quality risk products within schedule
- Identify risks using applicable risk assessment tools, and best practice tools and techniques
- Periodically review the risks and risk treatment strategies in order to update, eliminate or add risks and to meet reporting requirements.
- Document work in the appropriate format consistent with risk management process.
- Maintain accuracy of risk data communicated to project staff
- Highlight current or potential risk related issues to project manager
- Maintain compliance with approved processes, procedures, and systems

Education/ Experience
- Preferably Professional membership of a relevant chartered body.
- Trained in an appropriate Project management qualification

Proven experience work as a Risk specialist, working within in a project delivery environment ideally in the nuclear sector or a similar highly regulated sector.
