Avid Personnel are proud to be representing our client as they look to hire a Golf Reception Assistant to join their team.

Due to continued expansion through organic growth of the golf club our client has an exciting opportunity on a seasonal contract for the months of April to September.

The role of a Golf Reception Assistant includes (but is not limited to):

- Being the first point of contact for club members, guests and visitors.
- Maximising income from our golf retail shop.
- Provide support for club competitions and events.
- To perform the day-to-day administration of Golf Reception.
- To confirm bookings and liaise with the Club’s Food and Beverage franchise.
- To ensure that the Golf Reception and adjacent area is presented in a professional manner.
- To display our buggy fleet for daily use.
- A flare for customer service and sales
- A polite, friendly and welcoming manner
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (work, excel & outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong work ethic with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- The desire to progress within the organisation
- A knowledge of golf if desirable but not essential

- 28 hours a week
- Day time working hours Monday to Friday
- 1 weekend day working (on a rota basis)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 28 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour

- Flexitime
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Telford, TF6 5BX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
