Cleaner - Office / Childrens Homes

Arborvitae Care Services (ACS) are looking for a Commercial (Head Office) & Domestic (Our Children’s Homes) Cleaner. As part of the role will be within our children’s homes and living spaces, you will need to have patience and understanding, and will promote the safeguarding and welfare of the children.

Deep cleaning experience essential to clean houses and Head Office (based in Warrington near Ikea). You need to be fit and healthy, hold a Full driving licence and you will need your own transport to get to head office, but you will have use of a company vehicle to travel to various sites around the NW.

Good knowledge of cleaning/hazardous products is preferred but not essential, but you will need to be security conciseness (COSHH cupboards/keypads etc.)

You will be provided with the appropriate PPE.

You will also need to be able to react to quick change of plans to suit the needs of the business (emergencies within the children’s homes causing rerouting etc.)

Previous experience is not essential for the role, as you will receive induction training during your first 2 weeks to gain a greater understanding of the children and our approach.

**What will the role entail?**
- Working as part of a team to upkeep all of our homes (the children’s living environment and communal areas) in addition to the office.

This will include:

- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens etc.
- Emptying waste bins, ensuring safe and correct disposal
- Laundry and wash-up duties
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and colleagues.
- Attend mandatory training courses and other recommended training to support your own development. Our homes are in the Liverpool, Manchester and surrounding areas (Northwest)

We are recruiting either 1 x Full-time, 2 x Part-time or a Job Share Permanent cleaner

**Hours of work?**

Full time: 40 hours per week, 08:30 - 16:30 across 5 days a week (occasional weekends).

Part time and Job Share considered

**Salary**

The salary is based on full time employment/ pro rata for part time and is dependent on experience within similar settings.

The hourly rate for this role is dependent on experience
