At Downtown, our aim is to provide each customer with an exceptional service that complements our extensive product range and caters individually to their needs.

As we head into Spring, we require a new team member to join the team at Downtown Garden Centre at weekends, on an initial fixed-term basis of 6 months.

As a Sales Assistant, you will be covering various departments including Gardening, Tools, Landscaping, BBQs, Structures and Plants, all with a focus on offering an excellent customer service in a busy and varied environment, building rapport, interacting with customers, and delivering product recommendations to tailor items to the individual customer’s needs.

You will be a key team player, with superb communication skills and good levels of self-motivation. An interest in Plants and / or Gardening is beneficial.

Hours are 10 per week usually worked on Saturdays and Sundays during store opening hours. A flexible approach to working days and times is desirable and you should be available to work varying shift patterns if required.
