Restaurant Assistant

Our Downtown Garden Centre Restaurant has for many years offered our customers quality food and beverages and a well-earned rest from their shopping.
To help play a part in the day-to-day operation of the team, we have an opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working Restaurant Assistant to join the team on an initial fixed-term basis of six months.
As a Restaurant Assistant you will offer exemplary service to our customers in the delivery of meals and refreshments to their tables and will also assist with basic food and drink preparation, till work, stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties.
Ideally, you will already have worked in a similar catering environment and / or have barista training, however this is not essential. You should be an effective communicator, prioritise tasks efficiently and be able to demonstrate good customer service skills.
Hours are 26 per week worked over five days out of seven, including regular weekend shifts, all within store opening times. A flexible approach to working days and times is required and you should be available to work varying days and additional hours if required.
