**The Opportunity**:

- Leonardo recognises the critical role Test activities play in the delivery of our world-class engineering solutions. To this end we are setting up a team dedicated to enhancing our Test System capabilities across all product domains. This team will be responsible for:
- Software test system technical strategy
- Tool selection and administration
- Process improvement
- Automation and scripting
- CI Pipelines
- Emulation both internal development (C#) and Outsourced
- Leading and delivering the strategic roadmap for V&V

If you are motivated about ensuring the best tools are used and maintained then we want to hear from you You will be responsible for shaping, delivering and maintaining all tool aspects of the new Test Systems team. This will range from selection of COTS tools for unit test and static analysis, creation of CI pipeline approaches, scripting test analysis, defining solutions for automatically generating documents and much moreYou will be well supported by a the Test Systems lead, wider engineering community, Chief Software Engineer (V&V) and the Head of Software- Our projects typically cover a variety of embedded platforms using C++ and Ada hosted on Real Time Operating systems and comply with the industry standard DO-178C.We offer flexible working, great benefits and an emphasis on work life balance. Defence / Aerospace domain knowledge is an advantage but we want to hear from you if you have led teams to deliver high-quality software test systems.**What you will do**:

- What will a typical week look like?- Maintaining a leading tools capability
- Maintaining and delivering CI pipelines to project with a suite of supporting tools
- Engaging with the wider business to learn and share best practice
- Engaging with supplies to deliver an optimum solution
- Defining solutions for enhanced automation and analysis
