**If you are a passionate, highly skilled Artisan Baker with experience in producing handcrafted artisan breads along with Management skills, then we have a fantastic opportunity as an Assistant Head Artisan Baker at our Greenwich Bakery**.
**As a baker within our Artisan team, you will be working predominantly with British grown, stoneground, organic flour, and most of the breads in this range are entirely naturally leavened.**

**About the Role**:
We want our bakery to be the very best and you will play an integral part in this journey. You will be assisting the Head Artisan Baker with leading the Artisan Bakery Team helping to ensure they produce fantastic products every day. The role will involve making traditional sourdough breads along with other long fermentation products using heritage grains and stone ground flours giving the opportunity to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.

**Key information**:

- Helping to provide strong leadership and management to the Artisan Bakery team.
- Developing your team’s knowledge and skills whilst helping to develop their careers.
- Able to work at the mixer, oven, shaping table and scaling.
- Experienced in working with long fermentation products.
- Ensuring our products are made to the highest standards every day to plan.
- Supporting innovation and helping to manage the launch of all new products within your department.
- Follow and maintain Paul Rhodes Bakery processes and best practice maintaining the required high standards within the bakery.
- Have a genuine interest and desire to be part of a high-volume, high-quality bakery.
- Adhere to and ensure all staff are complying to company policy and procedures.

**Job Details**:

- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: in the region of £34,000 per annum
- Hours: 45 hours per week on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays.
