We’re very much looking forward to the festive period, when our estate becomes a winter wonderland and we get ready to host the most exciting and luxurious house party in Scotland From dining and dancing to Father Christmas and frivolities, the festive season transforms Gleneagles into a magical winter wonderland. We crack open nearly 5,000 bottles of Champagne, prepare over 3,500 mince pies and decorate over 100 Christmas trees, as we host the most exciting house party in Scotland

**Working with us over Christmas and New Year** is a fast-paced and fun adventure, with our whole team coming together to create the most magical experience for our guests.

To support our operational teams in the delivery of exceptional service, we’re looking to attract a dedicated festive team to work with us for a two-week period. This is your chance to be a part of that story

We'll need you to be fully available from
**Wednesday 21st December, to Wednesday 4th January inclusive from 5.30pm-10.30pm**
- Our
**private bus service** - with stops at Bannockburn, Stirling, Causewayhead, University of Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane - will get you to work and back home safely again, come rain, wind or snow Public transport is also readily available from Perth

**Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role**:

- As a fully flexible member of our team, you will be available throughout the week to work with us during particularly busy periods.
- Looking after our junior guests within the hotel will be your number one priority; their safety and welfare is paramount, whilst they’re having fun.
- Regular safety checks are required on our toys and equipment within Little Glen and The Den, you’ll be vigilant at all times, proactively removing and replacing anything that’s not of the required standard
- You’ll be responsible for a set number of children in your care, in line with Care Inspectorate ratios
- Providing a warm and friendly welcome to all of our guests, you’ll put parents/guardians at ease and ensure they feel comfortable leaving their children in our care
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

**The kind of person we're looking for**:

- You have previous experience in a similar role and you’re passionate about working with children both in indoor and outdoor settings
- Ideally you’ll either have achieved or working towards; an HNC in Childhood Practice or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People), however experience with working with children and a great attitude is also essential
- You’re creative, imaginative and innovative and you bring all of this to deliver the highest standard of care we can as a team; you have a flexible approach, able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment; thinking on your feet with the ability to problem solve to meet the needs of the children in your care
- Working with children can be exhausting, however your energy, positivity and patience are some of your greatest skills
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
