**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and housekeeping tasks.
- Provide specialised care for clients with conditions such as dementia or those receiving hospice care.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health status to relevant professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in patient care or senior care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is advantageous.
- Experience in hospice care or working within a nursing home setting is beneficial.
- Skills in childcare may also be considered an asset for those providing care to younger clients.
- A compassionate nature and strong communication skills are essential for building trusting relationships with clients and their families.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
