We are now looking for a Stock Supervisor to join our team at our Contract Logistics site based in Leicester. The role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing business and sector. The role involves making sure we reach customer expectations by ensuring operational targets are met.

**The Role includes but is not limited to**:

- Ensure that warehouse operations are carried out consistently and controlled to the quality standards appropriate to the intended use of the products handled
- Manage aspects of warehouse processes including facilities; personnel; premises and space; storage and loading; equipment and services; materials, containers, and labels, etc. according to approved standard procedures and working instructions
- Oversee the Health and Safety of the warehouse by ensuring that risk assessments are done, potential and actual hazards identified, and their effects are eliminated or minimised, checking the maintenance of premises and equipment and operators are trained to carry out procedures correctly
- Plan and schedule work to ensure that all jobs are completed on time. Ensure orders are picked, always packed, and despatched on time through management of resources
- Attend regular Client Management meetings to discuss performance to date, issues and resource requirements relating to now and the future
- Hold regular team meetings to discuss quality, performance, and resources
- Support, train and develop your team. Undertake annual appraisals and evaluate team and individual performance
- Co-ordinate holidays and maintain a staff register of your team

Provide support and where necessary training to new starters and staff who are changing responsibilities

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution centre experience
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
- GCSE’s in Maths, English and Science (grades A to C)
- Bachelor’s degree (BA, MSc) an advantage
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), required level - MEDIUM
- Ability to multi-tasks
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to maintain very high levels of accuracy in the processing and provision of management information
- Well-developed communicator both verbal and written
- Proactive, creative and highly organised
- Experience in dealing with colleague requests and coping under pressure whilst maintaining focus is essential
- Fire Warden Trained

**Package Details**:

- Salary: £33114, with an additional £18 per shift allowance for night shift
- Sunday to Thursday, 21:30 to 06:00
- Company Pension Scheme.
- 20 Days Annual Leave Per Annum + Bank Holidays, increasing with length of service.

The working hours for this role are Sunday to Thursday, 21:30 to 06:00, flexible around business requirements; based at our Leicester Site.
