Due to continued growth Patersons, part of the Manchetts Group is seeking an experienced Vehicle Parts Person based in Newmarket.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with different customers and challenges, you will enjoy this role.

**Your duties will include**:

- Working closely with the team to ensure that parts are available and on time
- Managing the ordering of additional parts found during the course of the repair
- Managing and processing returns and credit notes and the associated paperwork correctly and in a timely fashion
- Parts ordering, receiving parts and system entry
- Ordering workshop stock items
- Efficient management of supporting paperwork - Invoices, credit notes etc
- Front desk cover as and when required
- be computer literate and have experience using databases
- work well as part of a team but have the ability to work on your own initiative
- be able to provide quality customer service to our customers and clients
- be able to communicate positively and assertively in what can be a busy working environment
- have excellent time management and organisational skills
- have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- have the ability to work under pressure during busy periods
- have a ‘can do attitude to the job
- ideally have a basic knowledge from within the motoring industry

**Terms and Conditions**:

- Pay: per hour depending on knowledge, skills and experience
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 5 pm (1 hour for lunch)
- On-the-job training provided
- Free parking on site
- 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Pension scheme

**Salary**: £19,760.00-£25,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
