Bartender

Bar tender required to join our friendly team, full or part time available including weekends. Up to £13.00 per hour plus good service charge (at least £1 per hour extra).

The Lion at Malpas is a busy dining pub with 16 boutique bedrooms and a stunning function suite, at the heart of the village of Malpas. We are looking for experienced part time bar tenders to be part of our existing team.

Responsibilities include:

- Tending bar as part of a team but also alone during quiet service times
- Preparing drinks according to House Standards
- Opening bar including fruit prep and cleanliness standards
- Closing bar procedures, including cleaning and bottling up
- Solo use of the till and responsibility for tab settling
- Being aware of and adhere to licensing, data protection, Health & Safety at Work and COSHH legislation, at all times
- Communicating effectively with the team
- Always adhering to all company policies and procedures and licensing law
- **About you**:

- Strong team player
- Passion for delighting guests
- Experience of working as part of a bar team
- Ideally basic cold room understanding e.g. changing barrels etc.
- Ideally basic cocktail knowledge
- Passionate about food and drink
- Position only available to over 18's.
