Front of House Team Member – The Carden Arms

We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our front of house team here at The Carden Arms. We're a lively village pub with a focus on great food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality. Creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests is what we're all about — and we're looking for someone who shares that passion.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Greeting and looking after our guests, making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable.
  • Taking orders accurately and confidently, offering recommendations when needed.
  • Serving food and drinks promptly, always keeping an eye on quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Getting behind the bar — pulling pints, serving drinks, and keeping the bar running smoothly.
  • Entertaining our guests and making sure their visit is memorable for all the right reasons.
  • Keeping the dining and bar areas clean, tidy, and inviting.
  • Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing seamlessly.
  • Handling guest queries or issues professionally and with a smile.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, pub, or hospitality setting.
  • A good understanding of food and drink service standards, including food safety.
  • Experience in bartending or table service would be a real plus.
