An exciting opportunity for an individual who is ACCA or ACA qualified with some five+ years’ experience, with a passion for accounts, who wishes to work in Industry as a financial controller for a good sized growing dynamic company.

Salary is negotiable, **£65-75K** is the guide with good benefits including a **bonus scheme**.

We are proud to be working with an established multi-disciplinary service provider seeking a financial controller. The company specialises in civils, maintenance, and engineering services. They are a major supplier to the Railway Industry and now seek anambitious and professional Financial Controller to join them at their North-West London offices. You as the financial controller will report to and work closely with the Finance Director. You will manage the small finance department of some six people, includingan accountant, accounts assistant, purchase ledger controller etc. As the financial controller you will be a very important and a senior member of staff and you will run the finance department in the company together with the Finance Director. This is a companywho value their staff and this senior position as the financial controller is a vital one for them. As well as manage a small team in the accounts office you will have a hands-on approach to get the best from your team and lead the function by example. Youwill work very closely with the Finance Director to make sure all monthly accounts are delivered on time and accurately to the board of directors. To do this well your skills will centre on your bookkeeping ability with regards to debits and credits. You willnot have to assess risk on any of the projects.

- Be a qualified (ACA, ACCA) Accountant/Financial Controller
- Able to work near Wembley NW London five days a week in the office
- Strong character with good people manager skills
- Lead, manage and develop a team of 6 staff
- Produce monthly Management Accounts, especially debits/credits.
- Increase use of IT automation after training on software system
- Build good relationships with other departments and help make the Finance Department more integrated into the business, in particular with operations, training and HR.
