Even though this is a security role this position does not require an SIA License.
**Role requirements: -**

- Contribute as a team player ensuring that the customer has a positive experience as well as all employees and visitors
- Undertaken given duties as directed by onsite management and your account manager. Such as
- To control access into restricted areas of the Airport.
- To carry out security ID and boarding card checks and physical searches to a minimum of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) standards of all persons and articles carried, requiring access through the Security Checkpoints.
- To carry out x-ray duties of all items entering the restricted area.
- To respond to emergency incidents following the agreed procedures.
- To undertake foot patrols of operational areas and designated routes. Essential skills needed:
- Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
- Physically fit to undertake given tasks
- Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Effective Communicator
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
- The ability to work independently or as a team
- Health and safety awareness and knowledge
- Knowledge of relevant procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills
