**Security Office**

Mission: To assist in the overall operation of the Safety and Security department in the protection of the hotel, its assets, guests and employees. To ensure guests and employees safety in accordance with operational standards and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- As Security Officer, you are the custodian of our property and assets. Your role is to ensure that through your knowledge and passion for your trade, our security team will constantly aim to maintain the highest standards of safety for all our guests and staff members.
- Assume overall responsibility for the FLHSS (Fire, Life, Health, Safety and Security) of guest, staff, visitors and company assets while on shift.
- To work within the parameters of the Security Operational Procedures and the Hotel’s policy and procedures.
- To be the first point of contact in respect of a guest requiring assistance, and taking the necessary action to resolve the issue.
- Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents and accidents, ensuring that accurate documentation is maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
- To be aware of all statutory requirements such as the; Fire Precautions Act 1971, Licensing Laws, Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, Hotel Liabilities in respect of losses by guests and health and safety legislation.
- To prevent theft and damage to the property of guests, staff and the company and report and investigate all criminal occurrences.
- To respond to all alarms and take action as directed in respect of any emergency situation.
- To complete a number or full property walk rounds during the shift, ensuring the records are available.
- To eject trespassers or unwanted individuals from the premises.
- To control and supervise a daily distribution of master and metal keys.
- To assist in security at various functions.
- To assist Guests and Staff to evacuate the building at the time of emergencies, ensuring that panic is minimised and control maintained.
- To maintain the Security Office and monitor the usage of security related equipment (CCTV, patrolling devices, safes, locks, lock programming device, access control infrastructure)

What we are looking for?
- SIA Door License
- Fluent in English, additional language would be a plus
- Notions of Health and Safety
- Leadership and Decision-making skills.
- Teamwork and high degree of responsibility
- Customer service oriented
- Knowledge of safety regulations
