**Responsibilities**: Oversee the pre-account opening review forum, to include agenda prpreparation, organisation of meeting and work with onboarding and ADU teams and others when needed. At Onboarding, account opening and on an ongoing basis, must read CRF in order to be aware, familiar and comfortable with KYC profile and with any negative media or higher risk factor. - to submit acknowledgement upon receipt of information from lead banker. Responsible to perform some basic validation of the KYC to ensure Local requirements are met. Ensures that AML no concern is evidenced and Local Investment Centre Head approval for new account opening is obtained. Be available to provide information to the CPB representatives to meet with Local regulator to address any enquiry. Reviews/assess activity appropriateness before (Booking Centre) account opening. AML escalation obligation required if a transaction is suspicious. Assists Lead banker on CSS/AIR cases investigation and disposition. (Client screening and transaction screening) The Local Account officer will work in partnership with the EMEA Business Risk and Control team and Banker teams, ensuring that Citi’s internal control functions meets its obligations for internal control and risk management Qualifications: Extensive and proven experience in Private Banking having covered the UHNW market / Extensive experience in working with and/or leading client teams and transactions / Demonstrated track record in relationship selling Demonstrates extensive knowledge of all Citi Private Bank banking and product systems, platforms, tools and capabilities. Pro-active, initiative and driven / Excellent communication skills, written and verbal / Excellent relationship building skills (with clients, and across hierarchical levels and other functions) Numerate, analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills / Ability to challenge status quo and continuously optimize processes and tasks in own area of responsibility / Ability to build effective working relationships across hierarchal levels Regulated role with applicable/mandatory qualifications and/or licenses / RDR compliant, where relevant. **Education**: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience - **Job Family Group**: Private Client Coverage - **Job Family**: Private Banker - **Time Type**: Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
