Martin Collins Enterprises is looking for an experienced person to join their team at Membury, Berkshire, as a Equine Surface Project lead. We are looking for:
Someone with an excellent understanding of the Equine surface industry which incudes experience leading projects, client relationship, maintenance and ensuring that the best practices are being utilised.

This role will not only manage projects but involve considerable after sales and installation site inspections, and client relationship management not only in the UK, but other locations globally as required.

Experience working with equine facilities such as race course, equine centres or training tracks would be preferred but not essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**:

- Oversee and manage aspects of projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, positive relationships.
- Understand client needs and requirements, providing expert advice and solutions related tosurfaces.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and professional manner.
- **Technical Expertise**:

- Conduct site assessments to determine the best surface solutions for various equestrian facilities, such as arenas, stables, and tracks.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to clients and stakeholders regularly.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals for clients and management.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions between clients and project teams.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure all installations and maintenance meet internal QA standards and client expectations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of installed surface systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- **Business Development**:

- Identify opportunities for new business and develop strategies to expand the client base.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in project management and client relationship management.
- In-depth knowledge of equine surfaces and related technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in equine science, construction management, or a related field would be considered.

This position is located in Membury, but some working from home can be accommodated. Travel within the UK and internationally will be required for this position, including weekend working as and if required.

An attractive salary package would be offered for the right applicant.

Pay: £40,000.00-£65,762.64 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hungerford
