**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Maintenance Manager - Manufacturer of engineered products
This Maintenance Manager is a new position for the business, one which the senior leadership team are right behind. We are committed to giving you the resources and backing to take control and implement a progressive, preventive program. Whilst we are not thereyet, working towards a TPM is the ultimate goal.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Maintenance Manager - Manufacturer of engineered products
Reporting to the Head of Production and working closely with both the Engineering Manager and IT Manager the key tasks are:
- A seamless introduction of the SAP S4 Hana PM system.
- Developing a proactive PM and spares system which will hugely impact the current £1.2m spend across c60 machines (spares and breakdowns).
- Commercial analysis of each piece of equipment, monitoring and managing OEE reliability, downtime, breakdowns, working towards return on invest and forecasting CAPEX expenditure.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of 6.
- Sharing best practice with US Counterpart
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Maintenance Manager - Manufacturer of engineered products
Having got this far, you know this is an opportunity for you to stamp your mark, create a plan from scratch with a business that is ready to back you. You'll need a strong character, be prepared to be hands on, ensuring that the equipment is operationally effectivefor the demands of the business.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience of implementing a computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- A proven track record of working with 50+ machines with electrical and mechanical requirements.
- Previously managed and developed a team.
- Assisted in the defining of budgets and played a commercial role.
- Worked within a technical / engineered products / manufacturing environment and a turnover of £20-25million minimum.
In addition, ideally hold a manufacturing / engineering degree or qualification where you can demonstrate you have invested in developing yourself.
