**The Role**

The role is to support the development of future international ranges with new hosts as we develop and land new relationships. You will be responsible for the selection and delivery of a profitable customer led range. Your decisions are based on the direction and strategy of both the business and your brand. Your decisions will enable you to select the right product, at the right time, in line with the department design brief and product development to meet customer requirements to maximize revenue and growth.

**Responsibilities**

Select product from our brands to create commercial customer led ranges with specific ranking. Influence the Product team, manage product mix parameters: including price architecture, colour balance, style, and margin, and select and deliver a commercial and balanced range.
- Manage the critical path from selection through to launch, constantly reviewing the range and adapting to trade
- Build strong assortments and engaging edits which highlight brand difference and provide a feeling of bespoke selection and market difference, promoting and driving a clear understanding of customer segments.
- Grow and nurture host relationships, providing first class customer service and highlighting and negotiating commercial opportunities.
- Plan and collate Seasonal Planner/Colourflow/BEVs.
- Responsible for Visual Merchandising selected ranges including layouts. fixtures and POS, driving the look of ranges in store and online.
- Provide concise, accurate, action focused trade summaries by host/partner, working with Merch
- Manage re-works, including costs, to trade and drive additional revenue
- Review proposed MD lines, identify slow moving stock discussing agreed plan with Merch
- Regularly communicate with both retail and field teams, to improve sales, store performance and ensure correct VM execution.
- On board new partners, working across DCK. You will be the face of DCK
- Work with partners Marketing teams to deliver campaigns to support brand sales
- Shape and lead trade meetings with team and senior management
- Forge strong relationships with partners Online Trading teams to drive sales for the department.

**About you**
- You will be a selection expert responsible for multiple, large, complex brands and/or high revenue /profile brands
- Sound in depth knowledge of the fashion jewellery market (UK and international), brand positioning and trends.
- An understanding of current economic situations impacts of potential treats and competitors.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process and technical terms, sourcing and negotiation process with direct supply base and manufacturers.
- A good assertive influencer with strong organisational and task management skills
- Excellent presentation skills & ability to speak to senior heads within the business, externally and internally
