**Are you working in a Product Development team and looking to grow your autonomy and responsibility
**As Product Development Manager you will organise and prioritise NPD workflow to support sales and account management functions.

**Experience/Skills required**
- Product Development experience
- Previous experience of managing a team/delegation
- Account Management knowledge
- Great customer service skills
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Previous experience of recipe management and CRM software would be an advantage

**Responsibilities**
- Acting as Team Leader over a small team with a Development Technologist and Administrator
- Work with customers to simplify recipes to help reduce operational costs (less items mean less weighing, and less allergens means less cleaning)
- Development of recipes from brief, including reverse engineering from finished products
- Preparing technical documentation and quotes for inclusion with samples sent, meeting client development deadlines
- Assessment of recipes for taste/performance against the brief/stand (e.g. taste matches)
- Assessment of recipes for compliance to technical standards (eg preservative levels)
- Sourcing of new ingredients and specifications
- Assisting the Sales managers with account management functions, such as annual price reviews
- Horizon scanning for current and future trends for pro-active product development
- Build rapport with key client contacts (developers and buyers)
- Co-ordinating use of recipe management software () & customer relationship management software () to meet departmental needs
- Prepare data to better evidence R&D CT relief, (brief date, internal versions, sample date, somehow conclusion i.e., client feedback).
- Review & implement improvements to product development process
