Assistant Licensing Officer

We require an enthusiastic and well motivated officer to undertake the temporary role of Assistant Licensing Officer.
Assistant Licensing Officers need to have a 'can-do' approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communincate effectively with a variety of audiences. In addition they must be able to work positively and manage own workload in an efficient and effective manner.
The Role holder will provide an efficient support to the Licensing Team within communities and Public Protection.
The Role holder will be required implement effective administration and information systems in order to deliver a high quality service.
In order to fulfil this role, the role will be expected to have a knowledge of licensing legislation and how it is applied in Cornwall Council.
The Licensing Service is one of several services that makes up the Council's Public Protection and Business Support Service.
Whilst the location/work-base for this role may have been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.
