**The Role**

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join Select School Travel, working as part of a small accounts team. The Finance Assistant’s role will be varied with elements of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and general accounts administration:

- Accounts Payable - working with a varied ledger including foreign suppliers, end of season reconciliations and queries from Operations
- Accounts Receivable - Process Sales Invoices, producing credit control reports and follow up with tour coordinators to work with them on collections.
- Bank reconciliations - multi currency, reconciling and posting card payments
- Ad hoc - due to the size of team, on occasion the individual will be the face of Finance
- Assisting with cover with other duties due to holidays/sickness.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for a confident communicator with a sense of humor. Familiarity with accounting software and other supplementary software such as Paperless would be good. Excel skills should be above average.

We are looking to find someone with a positive can-do attitude. Also someone with flexibility due to the nature of the company’s business; the winter ski season is very busy and things quieten down a bit in the Summer.
