The Ecommerce Assistant will work closely with the Digital Commerce Manager and ecommerce Team to help with consumer revenue projects and content in order to deliver sales and profit growth. You will help effectively deliver promotional, marketing and customer service to CNB's many ecommerce projects whilst providing the optimal customer experience and continuously drive commercial performance. To succeed in this role, you will need to be competent in working cross-functionally at all levels and manage stakeholders to deliver trade promotion objectives.
This is a role that is integral to the team and requires a thorough understanding of the customer base, competitive market and seasonal fashion trends along with the ability to analyse sales performance and site trading metrics. The role involves managing external partners together with the Business Development Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of the marketing calendar to drive sales and profit performance, delivering an optimised experience to our core target customer in-line with overriding project strategy.- Managing calendars with regards to trading priorities including the launches, exclusives, promotions, content, PR and brand campaign activities in order to maximise marketing opportunities and site traffic.- Sourcing content & collateral working cross-functionally at all levels with projects, Marketing, Business Development, Editorial, Content, PR, IT, Product and Vendors.- Compile and write briefs for trade promotions and content for the marketing and production teams ensuring that the final product meet trade objectives.- Work with the Business Development team on vendor promotions with the guidance from the marketing team.- Implementing the marketing content and promotions strategy to maximise performance, including visual merchandising, optimisation of promotions and site content features.- Utilise analytics tools and work with the Analytics team to review successes, weaknesses and opportunities to identify areas of improvement in order to deliver trade objectives.- Work with content teams to deliver inspirational content to drive engagement strategies including promotional and seasonal campaigns, plan and influence priorities on homepage and landing pages and track the performance of those initiatives working closely with the Analytics and Business Development team.- Managing customer service inboxes, working with the marketing team and occasionally working on events.- Project manage the trade content objectives and contribute to the marketing campaign planning ensuring that all teams deliver to agreed timeframes.- Building relationships at all levels across Marketing, Trade, Content, Editorial, IT, Analytics, PR, Product, Business Development and Vendors to ensure all activities drive sales and margin performance.
Ideal Experience Required:
- Strong experience in an ecommerce, marketing or content management, ideally within the luxury fashion sector- A genuine passion for luxury product and a desire to deliver an offer tailored to our target market- Extensive project management expertise with the ability to manage stakeholders and deliver on time- Customer orientated with all strategic & operational activities- Sound business acumen, highly numerate, with excellent planning & analytical capabilities- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit to rapidly drive business growth- Excellent team work, communication and people management skills- Thrives in a fast paced work environment and works well under pressure to stringent deadlines- Experience working with online content managements systems and merchandising tools- Strong computer literacy; advanced Excel knowledge essential- Graduate level education (or equivalent)
