Commercial Vehicle Regional Sales Consultant- South

**Position Summary**
This job is a fast-moving sales position working side by side with the client’s market leading Commercial Vehicle Sales and Marketing Team. This Commercial Vehicle Regional Sales Consultant role will require regular travel to the South England based client HQ with normal on territory business requiring travel to meet dealers in the allocated zone and to attend field force team events
Flexibility and regular overnight travel will be required to fulfil this role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Agree Annual Commercial Vehicle (CV) Sales Objectives (ASOs) with dealers in line with national objectives.
- Support dealers to drive sales and profitability.
- Gain dealer acceptance to monthly CV wholesales, provide sales channel mix and derivative guidance to minimise stock ageing and ensure effective dealer inventory management.
- Work with dealers to achieve monthly and quarterly CV Sales objectives.
- Monitor run rates and work with dealer to address gaps as required.
- Identify and put in plans place to address dealer performance issues.
- Utilise Client reporting tools to identify sales opportunities.
- Drive strong dealer marketing and event activity via the National ‘Marketing Plan’ process.
- Provide timely and accurate dealer sales forecasts every Monday.
- Monitor mystery shop performance and address any issues and concerns.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and inspire your dealers to do the same.
- Ensure Central communications are quickly understood and activated by the dealers.
- Understand Dealer sales process and structure, develop plans to improve efficiency where required and use data analytics to drive results and make informed decisions.
**Business and Technical Skills**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous sales management experience would be advantageous as well as proven ability to deliver monthly sales objectives.
- Ability to connect and form productive relationships with all levels of a franchised Commercial Vehicle Dealer & Corporate Manufacturer Client
- A self-starter who is motivated to work remotely to agreed Objectives and KPI’s with the Central Client and Purchase Service Lead Guidance
- Previous Data analysis experience is essential coupled with the ability to utilise data to measure performance and make business decisions
- A power user of Microsoft EXCEL
- Proficient in use of Microsoft, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
**Education, Business Experience and Qualifications**
- Preferably Five plus GCSE’s and educated to A level standard or equivalent
- Relevant motor industry or other commercial business and analytical experience that is transferable
**Essential**
- Full Driving license is essential, as a generous car allowance and all job-related expenses are provided
- Living within the M5 corridor and or South Wales to ensure reasonable drive time to the assigned sales territory
**Additional Information**
- Monday to Friday: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
