We have a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a director of our established independent financial planning firm. You'll get to learn from one of the best advisers in the industry, someone with passion who has worked hard to become one of the mostqualified financial planners in the UK. As you progress in the role, you will take on more responsibility and work on cases requiring a greater technical ability. You will also play an increasingly important part in maintaining the trusted relationships wehave with our clients. The role will involve taking responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of client files, advice recommendations, financial plans and the ongoing reviews of clients' affairs. You will need to absorb and build industry knowledge, keep up to date withtechnical matters and undertake research. The critical elements of the role will cover: **Business Processing** - Completing documentation, gathering information, progress chasing and liaising with providers. **Client Servicing** - Liaising with clients, helping them with queries, maintaining client records, preparing for meetings, and researching suitable financial solutions. **Reviews** - Organising review meetings, preparing review documentation and implementing actions. **General Administration** - Working with back-office systems, correspondence and helping the director with other tasks. **Benefits** Pension, DIS, sick pay, critical illness cover, private medical insurance and discretionary bonus. **Additional Information** Office-based potentially with some homeworking following an initial settling in period. **Essential Skills**: - At least one year's investment or wealth administration experience. - A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and follow company procedures. - Highly organised, methodical, analytical and disciplined. - Good communication skills. - A positive attitude and willingness to help others when required. - Show initiative, be able to work without supervision and be able to meet deadlines when required.
