Platform Resourcing are currently working with a leading manufacturing company who are looking to expand their team by taking on a **Maintenance Administrator for initially 6 months but is going to become a permanent position**.

This role will start as a 6 month contract, but it is highly likely to go perm as the business keeps expanding on a monthly basis in each department and there will be the need for someone to take this over full time.

**Maintenance Administrator Benefits**:

- Salary of £25,000 with yearly pay review
- Yearly bonus - up to 10% of annual salary paid every April
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but this can be flexible.

**Maintenance Administrator Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure all daily tasks are issued out for the relevant people to action.
- Assign tasks to the Engineers and ensure any further information relating to assigned tasks is communicated and entered into the system
- Live control of stock parts, as well as the purchasing of ad hoc parts as and when they are required and available as well as maintaining and improving the purchasing process.
- Manage all Purchase Order entries for Engineering and Maintenance, and regularly run benchmarking exercises to ensure any purchases are best value at the lowest cost.
- Resolve any outstanding purchase order queries, both internal or external
- Preparation of monthly report on Engineering / Maintenance activities. Data to be collected, collated and prepared prior to month end.
- Attend Engineering / Maintenance meetings when required
- Collate and record documentation of Rams, Risk Assessments and work permits to make sure all is in order and accessible by H&S or Auditors as required

**Essential Experience/Qualifications**
- Experience within a similar position within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience of scheduling engineers and managing their diaries
- Creation of Purchase Orders and ordering parts
- Excellent customer service skills, strong communicator both written and verbal
- Experience of liaising other internal departments to resolve queries - confident on the telephone
- Strong data entry experience - efficient and accurate
- Computer literate - strong use of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to plan and organise own workload effectively
- Able to work as part of a team
