**Job Title**: General Builder
**Location**: Standish Mill, Standish Street, Chorley, PR7 3AH

**Job Type**: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (40 hours per week)

DBR Builders (NW) Ltd is a respected property development company specializing in the conversion of commercial properties into residential buildings. We manage a varied portfolio, including blocks of flats ranging from 4 to 31 apartments. Our reputation is built on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding service within the property development sector.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Install 100mm roof insulation over a 650 m² area.
- Carry out general building tasks such as brickwork, joinery, etc required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure work is performed to industry standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other site workers to ensure the smooth and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly handled.
- Adhere to site safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
- Report any issues or potential delays to the site manager.

**Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a General Builder or in a similar construction role.
- Experience with roof insulation installation is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
- Valid CSCS card (preferred).
- Owns their tools and PPE, preferred.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Competitive Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work required.
- Performance bonus.
- Free on-site parking.
