We're currently seeking HCPC Registered Sign Out Managers based in and around Warwickshire to work within a state of the art, high output diagnostics laboratory environment in Leamington Spa as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme, helping society'sreturn to a more normal way of life.

**What you can expect**:

- The Sign out Manager is required for the analysis of data (primarily PCR) generated by the clinical laboratory team to provide diagnostic results, initially for COVID 19 diagnosis. Hence, this role requires the individual to be experienced in molecularbiology methods.
- The Sign out Manager will provide assurance to the Laboratory Senior Management team through data analysis of the credibility of test results produced within the service laboratory as well as assisting the Principle Scientists and Associate Principle Scientistsin the management of the laboratory.
- They are required to perform and provide quality assurance through data analysis and assist in overseeing teams conducting the end to end lab processes and the analysis of PCR data generated by these clinical laboratory teams.

**What we're looking for**:
**Education**:

- HCPC Registered to practise as a Biomedical Scientist in a molecular biology field or equivalent qualification acceptable to the Institute of Biomedical Sciences and the Health Professions Council for registration.
- Biomedical Science degree
- Evidence of Continual Professional Development

**Experience**:

- Scientific knowledge in molecular biology of infectious diseases/genetic disorders
- An understanding of the meaning of results to enable authorisation and appropriate action in dealing with abnormal or unusual results
- Extensive experience in a laboratory preferably in molecular or microbiology including experience in using a variety of PCR methods (end-point, quantitative and real-time PCR methods)

The role will work on rotating patterns (including some weekend work - we have Day and Night shifts available) with flexible start times.

**Compliance checks**
