This role will be fully remote, however it would be highly advantageous if you are local to the Gateshead area and able to come into our offices on the odd occasion.

**Key Responsibilities**
- As the Head of Product, you will oversee product development throughout the company, as well as lead and mentor the members of the Product team.
- You will be responsible for defining and overseeing the digital product vision and strategy for Team RH. You’ll need to communicate this to the rest of the company, ensuring every member of staff understands the direction for the product.
- You’ll train, coach, mentor and grow our talented Product Management team and UX/UI Design team
- You will effectively oversee product delivery and execution, including user research, design, development, and feature roll-out
- You’ll need to maintain a deep understanding of our customers and the overall market
- This role will include managerial responsibilities, such as reviewing absence and holiday requests, carrying out regular performance reviews and having a general oversight of the Product team.
- You will make use of in-depth user research and customer feedback to make informed decisions regarding upcoming features and oversee a comprehensive roadmap of work. You will strive to anticipate and understand customer needs at all times.
- You will manage the backlog of upcoming work to ensure all tasks are prioritised correctly and oversee the entire development process.
- You will be responsible for making decisions during the development process from a business or user perspective.
- You will produce detailed business specifications, user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- You will contribute to ideation and discovery meetings, review sessions, as well as retrospectives.
- You will regularly communicate with the Engineering manager to ensure development is running smoothly and timescales are adhered to.
- You will produce detailed road maps of how we take our tech products from conception to completion, and update key stakeholders throughout the journey.

**Essentials we are looking for**
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or senior product management role
- Extensive knowledge of agile software development.
- A technical background with extensive knowledge of digital development and web technologies.
- Flexibility and a good attitude towards change.
- Excellent degree of communication skills and experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Experience or good knowledge of the fundamentals of coding and UX/UI
- Experience in a managerial or senior role previously.
- Experience mentoring less senior members of the team.

**Salary**: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
