**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager : Capital equipment / Plant Hire, Industrial Solutions

As our Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager, you’ll be working from home, covering the North East and North West. You'll use your experience of selling high value capital equipment or crane, lifting or plant equipment hire to position our bespokematerial conveying and industrial vacuum solutions to industrial clients.

Our solutions can be mobile or permanently integrated into a client's facility, they are available on hire or purchased outright. Either way, you'll uncover your own leads, as well as follow up on enquiries generate by our in house marketing campaigns. Inaddition you’ll:

- Meet with 2/3 clients per day
- Complete on-site surveys to generate accurate quotations
- Advise clients on the best solution(s) to meet their requirements
- Follow up on presented quotes and close sales

This is a solution sell, so you _**MUST**_ be able to demonstrate your ability to convert prospects into high value sales as well as develop existing accounts.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager : Capital equipment / Plant Hire, Industrial Solutions

You _**MUST**_ have a proven track record of success in sales of either capital equipment or plant equipment hire / sales solutions.

Ideally, you'll have sold to into industrial sectors that include:

- Cement & Concrete Manufacturers
- Steel & Foundry Sites
- Bulk & Mineral Storage and Transportation hubs
- Power Generation Facilities
- Building Materials
- Pulp & Paper Production

You will need to be highly self-motivated, with excellent planning skills and capable of building long-term relationships, built on service excellence.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Executive,Technical Sales Manager : Cement & Concrete, Steel & Foundry, Bulk & Minerals, Energy & Power, Building Materials, Pulp & Paper, Quarrying, & Aggregates, Asphalt Manufacturing, Power Stations, Grain Processing, Shotblasting, Insulation Manufacturing, PlantHire, Plant Equipment, Contract Hire, Cranes, Lifting Equipment.
