It is an exciting time to be joining Draper Tools and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to our Buying department at our Head Office in Chandlers Ford.

**What will I be responsible for?**

Joining our team as our Supply Chain Assistant, you will log and progress purchase orders with our global supplier base and support with maintaining stock availability of our products, ensuring continuity of our supply chain. Your daily tasks will include:

- Record purchase orders within our database
- Verify purchase order confirmations against purchase orders for prices, terms and conditions and projected shipping dates
- Update and maintain our product item cost data
- Progress purchase orders and update our system with product milestone information
- Ensure purchase orders are on schedule
- Track fast selling / low stock items and ensure these items are prioritised
- Highlight any issues / problems to the Buyers to help maintain continual stock availability
- Complete profit margin comparison spreadsheets for Buyers
- Assist Import Team with admin support.

**Could this be the ideal role for me?**
- Experience of working in a Buying or Supply Chain department
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Flexible and adaptable
- Positive team player
- Good IT skills and confident with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of AS400 would be an advantage
