Our North Bristol based client is looking for an experienced HR & Recruitment Advisor to report into the Head of HR and work closely with the HR Business Partners to provide an HR Advisory service across the business. Operating as an HR generalist you willsupport the implementation of HR policies and procedures, provide advice and support to HRBPs and business managers on absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organisational change and the range of employment and employee relationsmatters. You will also provide some administrative support and provide guidance to the HR Administrator. In addition, you will also manage the recruitment process for roles, helping to identify the requirements of the role, owning the process from point ofapproval to the start of employment.

Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting a performance management culture by advising and guiding managers on performance management and capability casework
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance issues including assisting with disciplinary investigations and hearings up to final written stage
- Providing support to HRBPs by taking notes and minues from hearings up to dismissal stage and appeals
- Managing casework relating to sickness absence, providing advice and support to managers
- Supporting with the development of job descriptions, person specifications and salary benchmarking
- Ensuring roles are filled with agreed timescales using company driven resourcing techniques
- Managing the PSL and three yearly tender review process
- Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation
- Completing pre onboarding checks such as Right to Work documentation
- Manging IR35 process/checks when required
- Logging all elements of the recruitment process onto the relevant systems, coordinating each stage of the recruitment process ensuring all involved are kept up to date with progress and promoted to act at the appropriate stage of the process
- Working with HRBPs to support the annual review process
- Supporting HRBPS with new parent and flexible working requests
- Preparing regular and ad hoc management information reports to support management activity
- Proposing or developing policy and procedure guideline documentation
- Keeping up to date with developments in employment legislation

**Person Specification**
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or studying towards qualification
- Experience as an HR Advisor including strong recruitment experience
- Able to take a customer focused approach objectively balancing the needs and concerns of employees with those of the business
- Good planning and coordination skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Willingness to travel to other sites if required
- Flexible approach
- Strong team player

**Salary**

£30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits

**Location**

North Bristol (hybrid working - 2 days in the office/3 days from home)

**Hours of work**

Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
