**About the role**

Babcock has been selected as the Metropolitan Police Service's (Met Police) learning partner, working with a consortium of four London-based universities - Anglia Ruskin University, Brunel University London, University of East London and University of WestLondon - to support the UK's largest police service with the training of its new officer recruits from 2020.

As an Associate Marker you will be responsible to mark student assessments in line with marking criteria ensuring accuracy and consistency of assessment grades across the internal delivered provision for the PEQF contract.

The topics you will be assessing are based around operational policing such as stop and search, crime scene investigation and interviewing techniques. This role can be based fully remote anywhere in the UK and can be completed within your own time schedule.

**What do I need to be able to do the role?**

You will need to have served as a Police officer and have a level 6 qualification as a minimum. You will also need to have knowledge of marking to assessment guides and assessment criteria or experience of working within a training environment.

**We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas**:

- Minimum Level 6 qualified.
- Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent

**What else do I need to know?**
- Flexible working - permanent working from home
- Due to the workloads we envisage, we cannot accept applicants who are currently full time employed.
