We’re looking for a Data Intelligence and Analysis Manager to join our team based in either Darlington or Wakefield. The role will provide leadership and direction to the Asset Data Team and will unlock the value in National Highways data and derive intelligenceand recommendations that support the regions needs assessment, investment and planning decision making.

What you’ll be leading on
- Champion asset and performance data quality and integrity in the Region, providing coaching and guidance to regional colleagues involved in data entry or capture.
- Support regional colleagues through the utilisation of asset and maintenance data to deliver their key accountabilities and maintain network safety and performance.
- Identify, mitigate and manage risks associated with the asset databases and relevant documentation.
- Set the direction and high-level requirements for asset database management within the regional operations team.
- Act as the main point of contact with wider National Highways data teams. Represent the region at the Confirm User Group and the P&D National Meeting to address, guide and resolve issues with current ways of working, including processes and procedures andestablishing best practice.

To be successful
- Degree or HND in relevant discipline with appropriate experience or equivalent
- Membership of IAM or equivalent professional body
- Thorough understanding of data and information management principles and best practices
- Ability to lead, inspire and drive change within a team and across organisational boundaries
- Good understanding of asset management decision making (lifecycle costs, value optimisation and prioritisation)
