**Job Title**:Sourcing Unit Bulk Material Planner

**Location**:Gloucester Factory

Type: Fulltime, permanent

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

Combined role responsible for ordering bulk materials to achieve the right balance of stocks, service and factory efficiency.

The team is responsible for Planning for the Factory, bringing in all materials and packaging materials, interacting with all elements of the business to ensure effective operations of the site.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Using SAP & local Mix Planning Systems, ensure bulk materials are ordered, targeting zero line stops due to material availability.
- Alignment of system and physical stock to facilitate accurate material ordering.
- Maintain Bulk material delivery schedule, liaising with Ultra Logistics and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Highlight and manage risks to minimize impact on production.
- Lead continuous improvement program, to reduce demurrage charges and obsolete materials using World Class Manufacturing methodology.
- Review planning KPI’s and develop plans to address persistent issues with cross functional teams.

**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Knowledge of SAP/APO, however training will be provided.
- Knowledge of ACCOS/INFOR systems an advantage
- Competent computer skills, including Excel.
- Previous experience in a production or material planning role desirable.
- Good communicator, with ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Confident and assertive manner.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Able to identify best cost solution for manufacturing.

**Additional Comments**:
