**Job Title: Restaurant & Hotel Check-In Supervisor - Open Arms Hotel**

Location: Open Arms Hotel, Main Rd, Dirleton, North Berwick

Days: 5 days per week (including weekends on rotation)

Pay: £14.00 per hour (rising to £14.50 after one month)

Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role:
The Open Arms Hotel is seeking a versatile Restaurant & Hotel Check-In Supervisor to oversee dining services and guest check-in operations. This role is perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys leading teams, delivering excellent guest service, and ensuring smooth hotel and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise restaurant service (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction
- Lead, support, and motivate restaurant and front-of-house staff
- Oversee guest check-ins, check-outs, and any front-desk queries efficiently and professionally
- Manage reservations, room allocations, and communication with housekeeping
- Ensure all areas are clean, presentable, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Handle guest complaints or issues calmly and effectively
- Assist in staff rotas, training, and performance monitoring
- Liaise with management to report on daily operations and guest feedback

**Requirements**:

- Previous supervisory or team leader experience in hospitality
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask across restaurant and front-desk responsibilities
- Confident, professional, and customer-focused
- Flexible and willing to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
