The Hygiene Team Leader is responsible for co-ordinating the day-to-day activity of the Hygiene Team. They will support the team in ensuring all hygiene activities are carried out to the highest standards, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are adhered to and issues are dealt with appropriately.

**What's the role about?**

This role is responsible for supervising and motivating the team to deliver all aspects of the day-to-day hygiene activities across the site. Including control of cost within budget including labour through maximization of team members, plant efficiencies and the effective management of overtime and absence, while supporting, coaching and developing the team. Ensuring that all hygiene activities are completed in line with food safety requirements and legislation.

**How will you stand out?**
- Have experience in or significant previous exposure to providing effective, clear leadership within a food manufacturing / hygiene environment.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, being solution focussed and striving for continuous improvement
- Be organised and diligent with high attention to detail, setting and maintaining high standards for both yourself and the team
- Have great communication skills at all levels with the ability to build effective cross functional networks / relationships
- Be a positive role model who demonstrates a high level of integrity
- Be IT literate, possessing basic Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge
- Have an in-depth understanding of hygiene systems and standards

Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
