**Warehouse/Production Operative**
**Location: Leeds**

We are currently supporting our client who specialise in the manufacturing, machining, and supply of high temperature insulation materials, who have over forty years’ service to industry. Now looking to expand their team, this is a great opportunity to joinone of the market leaders.
**The Opportunity**:
As an expanding business within an industry that is being heavily relied upon for eco-friendly building solutions, the position with our client is one that will allow you to continuously develop.
**Part of a much bigger group who have a firm footing within their field, they are looking for someone who can add value to their business but equally as much, learn new skill sets and progress with their business/group.**
**The Role**:
As a Production Operative you will be required to check tooling, operate machinery, and follow standard ways of working. In addition, you will be required to:

- Record daily production output
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained
- Work to agreed Health & Safety Regulations and standards
- Report all machinery defects promptly
- Report any unsafe working practices
- Work in the main warehouse during times of peak warehousing workload

At this stage in your career, you will already be well versed within warehouse/production environments and you will ideally be looking to make a move to a business that you can hit the ground running. Furthermore, you will have:

- A good awareness of health and safety, safe working practices and a strong work ethic
- A flexible approach to working hours, as some occasional overtime working may be required
- Physical fitness, as some manual warehouse work will be required
- A basic understanding of simple technical drawings and the ability to check products against drawings
- Self-motivation and self-discipline - able to work to deadlines efficiently without constant supervision
- Experience of working in a modern factory environment would be beneficial
